📋 Description

• Provide dedicated, personalized support to patients and doctors by phone and online portal • Investigate and answer questions about insurance benefits, coverage, and out-of-pocket costs • Assist with payments, reimbursements, payment denials, appeals, prior authorization, and medical necessity processes • Make outbound customer calls for additional information • Search for alternate reimbursement resources and assist qualified patients with enrollment • Respond to customers, sales representatives, and business partners and follow up on requests • Enter orders, change orders, track shipments, and maintain customer notes, logs, and records • Process patient assistance applications according to program business rules • Act as the primary contact for healthcare providers to obtain patient enrollment and insurance information • Follow company and client policies and procedures • Complete other assigned tasks and projects

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma and 4 years’ experience or Associate’s Degree and 2 years’ experience in healthcare setting • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to multitask • Accurate and detail-oriented • Ability to work independently and function as a team player • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment while remaining patient-minded • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Customer service and/or call center experience preferred • Patient assistance, reimbursement and/or pharmacy benefit management experience preferred • Medical billing and coding experience preferred
