📋 Description

• Serve as a core member of the executive leadership team, shaping organizational strategy, culture, and enterprise-wide priorities • Hire and mentor a high-performing leadership team and staff • Build a mission-driven culture focused on scale, thoughtfulness, and urgency • Establish learning architectures with clear hypotheses, rigorous measurement, rapid iteration, and honest reporting • Use cost-effectiveness evidence to guide resource allocation • Develop and steward open-sourced playbooks and insights • Set and achieve ambitious Agriculture or Health portfolio strategies, including vision, priorities, delivery models, and expansion roadmaps • Design and run fast, rigorous pilots with strong measurement and feedback loops • Track, test, and integrate emerging AI-enabled tools and approaches for LMICs • Partner with technical and research teams to ground AI-powered approaches in evidence and local realities • Bridge AI labs, global development actors, researchers, implementers, and regional governments • Shape technical offerings for underrepresented languages, low-bandwidth environments, and last-mile contexts • Support regional leaders in government relationships, adoption pathways, and policy enablement • Lead fundraising efforts, grant development, and investment narratives • Represent 2AI in senior-level public and private forums

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience building and leading programs in international development or adjacent fields • Demonstrated track record scaling complex initiatives to national or regional scale in low- and middle-income countries • Built new programs and organizational functions in 3-5 countries • Scaled programs nationwide across multiple countries • Recruited and developed top talent and cultivated a culture of rigor and urgency • Experience with AI-enabled solutions in the portfolio area preferred, including AI clinical decision support, digital health, telemedicine, AI in agriculture, digital agriculture, or agtech • Experience in fundraising or major donor engagement • Raised $5M+ annually • Familiarity with African and/or Asian government operations • Experience bridging technical and programmatic worlds in global health delivery, agricultural extension delivery, market-shaping, technology for development, or related fields • Ability to translate between AI labs, researchers, delivery organizations, and government counterparts • Strong working knowledge of frontier AI tools and LLMs • Practical application of AI in low-resource settings • Existing relationships with major global health or agriculture funders is a plus • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; Evidence Action cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of a U.S. employment visa
