📋 Description

• Manage the pre-execution contract lifecycle across pharmacy and medical benefit contracting, including innovative, value-based, and medical access/rebate agreements. • Coordinate internal review, approval, and execution with Legal, Negotiators, and other stakeholders. • Draft, review, and revise contracts, amendments, and related documents. • Participate in manufacturer discussions during negotiation and contract development. • Develop and maintain plan adoption documentation. • Maintain and update contract templates with Legal, including approved business and legal language and version control. • Support the development and execution of medication contracting RFPs across pharmacy and medical benefits. • Prepare RFP materials, coordinate stakeholder input, manage RFP workflows, track manufacturer responses and offer revisions, and maintain documentation through the RFP platform. • Prepare and coordinate post-execution handoffs with Contract Operations. • Maintain accurate and complete contract and RFP documentation throughout the pre-execution lifecycle. • Support implementation and adoption of the RFP platform and AI-enabled Contract Lifecycle Management solutions. • Identify and escalate complex, high-priority, or non-standard contracting matters to the Lead Contract Manager. • Communicate contracting priorities, status, significant issues, risks, and escalations with the Contract Manager Lead. • Implement Contract Management standards, quality controls, and process improvements. • Support continuous improvement of Contract Management processes, templates, tools, and workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in contract management, contract development, healthcare contracting, pharmacy contracting, or a related role involving complex commercial agreements. • Experience drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts and amendments, with the ability to translate negotiated business terms into clear contractual language. • Experience supporting contracts throughout the contract lifecycle, including contract development, review, execution, implementation, amendments, renewals and ongoing contract management. • Experience in pharmacy, medical benefit, pharmaceutical manufacturer, PBM, health plan, or other healthcare contracting is strongly preferred. • Experience supporting or managing RFP processes. • Comfort participating in external partner and pharmaceutical manufacturer negotiation discussions alongside Negotiators. • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Legal, Strategy, and other stakeholders. • Experience using contract management systems, RFP platforms, or other tools to manage contracting workflows, documentation, and contract lifecycle activities. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple contracts, priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional dependencies.
