📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Enter high volumes of data and process prescription information accurately • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications and transfers • Perform claim adjudication and auditing, including prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks • Make outbound calls to patients • Resolve patient care issues through case queues • Liaise between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients • Maintain confidential patient records • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Make welcome calls to newly onboarded patients • Create, maintain and update medication profiles • Provide backup support during periods of high call volume • Assist patients with questions by phone • Support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base in a high-volume environment • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values • Attend special organization or department events, team meetings, trade shows, conferences and client engagements as needed • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate • Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Ability to perform in an office based (or remote) setting that requires sitting at a desk 90% of the time • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Ability to utilize computer equipment, technology and multiple software programs • Exceptional customer service skills • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of prescription processes, clarifications and transfers • Clear written and verbal communication • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details compliantly with state and federal regulations • Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed • Available outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis • Applicants must be eligible to work in this country
