📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Enter high-volume prescription data accurately • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, and transfers • Perform claim adjudication and auditing, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks • Make outbound calls to patients • Resolve patient-care issues from current case queues • Liaise between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients • Maintain confidential patient records • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Welcome newly onboarded patients and establish points of contact • Create, maintain, and update patient medication profiles • Provide backup support during high call volumes • Answer patient questions by phone • Support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base in a high-volume environment • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Current certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) • Current pharmacy technician registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Ability to work in an office-based or remote setting, sitting at a desk 90% of the time • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Ability to utilize computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs • Exceptional customer service skills • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of prescription intake, clarifications, and transfers • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document details in compliance with state and federal regulations • Able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory • Availability to work extended hours as needed • Eligible to work in this country
