📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Enter high volumes of prescription data accurately • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, and transfers • Perform claim adjudication and auditing, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks • Make outbound calls to patients • Resolve patient care issues from case queues • Liaise between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients • Maintain confidential patient records • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients • Create, maintain, and update patient medication profiles • Provide backup support during periods of high call volume • Answer patient questions by phone • Support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base in a high-volume environment • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values • Travel for organizational events, team meetings, trade shows, conferences, and client engagements as required • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate • Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Ability to perform in an office-based (or remote) setting, sitting at a desk 90% of the time • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Ability to use computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs • Exceptional customer service skills • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of prescription intake, clarifications, and transfers • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document details in compliance with state and federal regulations • Applicants must be eligible to work in this country • Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed • Availability outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis
