• Define and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national and global objectives • Drive revenue, market share, and profitability goals across multiple territories • Anticipate regional trends, competitive threats, and healthcare policy shifts and provide actionable insights to executive leadership • Mentor Regional Sales Directors and Oncology Account Managers and build succession pipelines • Partner with marketing, medical affairs, market access, and operations on strategic initiatives • Oversee regional budgets, resource allocation, and investment decisions to maximize ROI • Champion integrity, accountability, and regulatory compliance • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative approaches to expand market presence • Represent the region in national leadership forums and contribute to forecasting, portfolio strategy, and long-term planning • Ensure execution of sales plans while balancing strategic and tactical priorities • Directly supervise Oncology Account Managers • Lead subordinate managers and ensure consistent performance management • Oversee staffing, succession planning, and organizational design for regional sales teams • Mentor and coach senior-level sales leaders • Work with clients in an indoor, office and field-based environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 15 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in a related discipline and 13 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of 8 years’ proven experience in oncology sales and/or marketing • Demonstrated success leading large, diverse teams and consistently exceeding revenue targets • Experience in brand strategy, market access, and payer engagement strongly preferred • Proven track record influencing executive-level decision-making and contributing to national strategy • Visionary leadership ability • Advanced strategic planning, forecasting, and analytical skills • Deep expertise in oncology market dynamics, healthcare systems, and regulatory environment • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence • Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and rapid change with resilience • Strong financial acumen and experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets • Skilled in building cross-functional partnerships and driving organizational alignment • Candidate must be located in close proximity to their region • Ability to travel domestically 60% of the time
