📋 Description

• Manage relationships with medical record vendors and other record retrieval providers • Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics, service-level expectations, and operational effectiveness • Lead vendor issue resolution, escalation management, continuous improvement initiatives, business reviews, and performance assessments • Oversee medical record fee management, invoice review, payment processes, and adherence to contractual pricing and fee schedules • Monitor accounts receivable aging and outstanding vendor balances; investigate billing discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions • Support budget management and cost containment initiatives • Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on invoices, fees paid, accounts receivable aging, vendor performance, productivity, and program financial performance • Analyze trends, provide actionable recommendations to leadership, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools • Identify workflow improvements, support automation initiatives, implement best practices, and lead operational enhancement and cost-saving projects • Ensure compliance with client requirements, vendor agreements, HIPAA regulations, and internal policies • Develop standard operating procedures and operational documentation; monitor controls for accuracy and risk reduction • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members • Support audit requests and regulatory compliance activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field preferred • 5+ years of healthcare operations, medical records management, vendor management, finance, or related experience • 3+ years of leadership or managerial experience • Experience managing vendor relationships, invoicing processes, and financial reporting • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, medical record retrieval processes, and regulatory requirements • Vendor relationship management • Financial analysis and cost management • Accounts receivable and invoice processing expertise • Reporting and data analytics • Process improvement and automation • Project management • Problem-solving and escalation management • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting tool proficiency • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Work From Home • Base salary range of $75,100–$123,400 • Benefits information provided via EXL’s US careers and benefits page • Compensation may exceed the posted range in higher-cost zones such as California, New York, and New Jersey
