📋 Description

• Develop privacy-preserving mechanisms, derived signals, and shared semantics for cross-border data products • Build cross-border entity resolution as a foundational capability • Collaborate with data science teams on matching approaches and match quality • Build semantic and ontology layers that make data consumable by AI agents across regions • Implement governed discovery and compliant access paths • Guide technology adoption through reference implementations and reusable engineering patterns • Lead prototyping and R&D efforts with product and engineering teams • Mentor engineers in fundamentals thinking, system design, and product awareness • Report to the Sr. Director of Platform Engineering as an individual contributor

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, focused on data platforms, analytics infrastructure, and AI/ML systems • Bachelor's degree or higher in science, technology, engineering, or a related field • First-principles reasoning about platform tradeoffs and ability to explain system behavior at the mechanism level • Hands-on experience across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion to transformation and BI/ML consumption • Experience with data modeling, schema design, data quality, lineage, catalog metadata, and governance at scale • Experience designing architectures for unified, governed access to data across systems • Experience overseeing and evolving shared platform architectures • Experience with distributed computing and cloud-native infrastructure; Amazon Web Services preferred • Comfort with infrastructure as code and operating production workloads • Hands-on experience with graph databases, entity resolution, or record linkage systems
