📋 Description

• Lead all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, revenue accounting, and month-end close • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities • Maintain internal controls and compliance with company policies and accounting standards • Evaluate accounting processes and implement scalable, standardized workflows • Partner with cross-functional teams on customer, billing, invoicing, collections, and reporting issues • Improve accounting data quality through workflows, documentation, and system utilization • Optimize financial systems and identify automation opportunities • Develop controls that reduce risk and improve operational efficiency • Improve billing and invoicing accuracy • Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team • Establish performance metrics and foster continuous improvement • Partner with the CFO on the roadmap for a world-class accounting function • Own the PCAOB audit process and its completion

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required • 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience • Experience leading accounting teams within a private equity environment preferred • Experience in software, SaaS, healthcare technology, healthcare services, or complex multi-entity environments preferred • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, and internal controls • Demonstrated success improving accounting operations, implementing standardized processes, and strengthening financial controls • Experience leading NetSuite ERP or accounting system improvements preferred • Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills • Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution • Ownership and completion of the PCAOB audit process • CPA strongly preferred
