📋 Description

• Lead all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, revenue accounting, and month-end close • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities • Maintain internal controls and compliance with company policies and accounting standards • Evaluate and improve accounting processes for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability • Design and implement standardized accounting processes • Partner with cross-functional teams on customer, billing, invoicing, collections, and financial reporting issues • Improve accounting data quality through workflows, documentation, and system utilization • Optimize financial systems and identify automation opportunities • Develop controls that reduce risk and enable efficient operations • Improve billing and invoicing accuracy • Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team • Establish performance metrics and a continuous-improvement culture • Partner with the CFO on the roadmap toward a world-class accounting function • Build trust, standardize processes, strengthen controls, and support Experity’s future growth

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required • CPA strongly preferred • 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience • Experience leading accounting teams within a private equity environment preferred • Experience in software, SaaS, healthcare technology, healthcare services, or complex multi-entity environments preferred • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, and internal controls • Demonstrated success improving accounting operations and implementing standardized processes • Demonstrated success strengthening financial controls • Experience leading NetSuite ERP or accounting system improvements preferred • Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills • Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on problem-solving • Ownership of PCAOB audit process and completion
