📋 Description

• Provide full-time project support for a large Enterprise Healthcare Extreme customer in the Cincinnati, Ohio area • Follow Extreme Premier Services PDIO (Plan/Design/Implement/Operate) implementation methodology • Prepare high-level architecture diagrams, functional capabilities, customer prerequisites, configurations, and deliverable timelines • Define UAT and Functional Validation criteria in a Method of Procedure document • Create and maintain project documentation during implementation and ongoing delivery • Serve as technical lead and trusted advisor to the customer during implementation and as an ongoing team member • Liaise among sales, PLM, Engineering, GTAC, Account Team, Management, and the customer throughout implementation and production phases • Work with Extreme partners and sales staff to implement Extreme solutions and provide knowledge transfer • Maintain expert knowledge of Extreme Cloud IQ Site-Engine, Extreme Cloud IQ Wireless, EXOS switching OS, and Extreme VOSS/SPB Fabric • Proactively escalate customer issues to the PSM, GTAC, Account Team, and Management

🎯 Requirements

• Expert in networking technologies with 5 or more years' experience • Thorough knowledge and proven experience implementing and maintaining Extreme Campus Fabric • Thorough knowledge and proven experience with EXOS (ERS series) switching OS • Thorough knowledge and proven experience with Extreme Cloud IQ Site Engine, Extreme Control (NAC), and Extreme Analytics platforms • Thorough knowledge of VOSS switching and SPB fabric networks • Thorough knowledge and proven experience with Extreme Wireless solutions using XIQ (hive OS) related APs • Thorough understanding of LDAP, RADIUS, and Active Directory Services for AAA within NAC solutions • Hands-on experience using security-related toolsets • Strong troubleshooting and network problem-resolution skills, including PCAP, Wireshark, and wireless RF analysis tools • Ability to understand customer requirements and position Extreme solutions effectively • Ability to implement Extreme products in mission-critical environments within scheduled downtime or with no downtime • Ability to manage complex customer interactions and customer expectations • Experience using project plans, design diagrams, and procedure documentation; coordinating with Firewall and OS Teams • Excellent interpersonal, technical presentation, and communication skills • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision • In-depth knowledge of five or more networking technologies, with 5 or more years of experience: NAC, DNS, DHCP, Wireless, IPv4/v6, routing protocols, or Layer 2 switching • Must be a US citizen • BS Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience • Industry Network Certifications desired • Automation/Python scripting experience
