📋 Description

• Own the complete design process for Facet's internal, web-based software tools from problem framing and information architecture through UI design, prototyping, and shipping • Translate core planning and operational mental models into clear, intuitive experiences and dense UI patterns • Untangle legacy information architecture across multiple internal surfaces by consolidating fragmented tools and duplicate actions into logical, efficient workflows • Design workflow solutions for planners and sales teams, including scheduling meetings, capturing notes, answering messages, and managing daily tasks • Conduct ongoing research with internal teams to validate interaction patterns and surface unmet workflow needs • Advocate for power users who spend the majority of their day in internal tools • Design interfaces that clearly communicate tool behavior and increase confidence in automations • Make pragmatic design decisions balancing UX craft with scrappy, functional solutions that improve operational efficiency • Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to transform legacy tools into streamlined workspaces

🎯 Requirements

• Online portfolio required for consideration, showcasing strong information architecture, systems thinking, and complex workflow design • 7+ years of product design experience • Track record of shipping software for data intensive workflows, internal tools, or specialized professional platforms • Fintech experience a plus • Experience leading user research, driving discovery, mapping user journeys, prototyping, and creating high fidelity designs • Experience partnering with engineering to see designs through production • Ability to actively integrate AI capabilities to increase efficiency for the designer and end user • Systems thinking, including structural patterns, reusable components, and mental models • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, navigate technical constraints, and align stakeholders around UX decisions • Highly proficient in Figma • Comfortable working within, maintaining, and extending design systems • Prefer experience designing for financial planning, wealth management, or investing
