📋 Description

• Lead the Working Capital team's financial product development lifecycle • Contribute directly to the codebase for key initiatives • Accelerate team delivery cycles through the strategic adoption of AI and robust engineering practices • Ensure delivery of the Working Capital team's key initiatives • Ensure operational excellence and business-aligned product development • Build a self-managing, multidisciplinary team through modern software development practices • Raise the bar for execution and technical quality across Engineering • Coordinate solutions with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams • Lead incident response and resolve inefficiencies before they escalate

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of combined software engineering experience • At least 2–3 years in formal technical leadership roles or as a hands-on Engineering Manager • Experience in fintech startups, B2B SaaS, or digital products • Hands-on technical leadership and the ability to understand complex transactional architectures • Ability to design technical specifications and prototype with the team • Autonomy to coordinate solutions across multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams • Ability to balance trade-offs and communicate the broader product roadmap vision • Experience building multidisciplinary, self-managing teams • Experience with iterative and incremental development • Strategic use of AI, including automated testing, latency management, fallbacks, cost management, and observability • Experience leading incidents and delivering results in highly ambiguous environments • TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js or Vite, and occasional Python • Monorepos and modular architectures or similar • PostgreSQL • Event sourcing, KurrentDB/EventStore • Apache Pulsar and Temporal or similar • GCP with Kubernetes/GKE • Dapr, KrakenD, and Istio or similar • GitHub Actions and Argo CD • SigNoz, Grafana, and Sentry or similar • LiteLLM and integration with OpenAI/Gemini models • Data extraction or similar
