📋 Description

• Interview, screen, and extend offers to potential field and office employees • Assist Talent and Workforce Management functions with departmental initiatives and programs • Conduct presentations at high schools and technical schools • Establish and maintain relationships with area schools • Attend recruiting events and participate in professional and trade-related organizations • Search for qualified candidates using databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals • Screen and refer applicants to hiring personnel and make hiring recommendations when appropriate • Interview applicants for posted and future employment opportunities • Maintain relationships with hiring managers regarding current and future hiring and business needs • Attend weekly staffing meetings • Process candidates after interviewing and complete new-hire paperwork as needed • Assist hiring managers with HR policies, procedures, practices, and initiatives • Maintain current knowledge of HR laws, practices, procedures, and trends • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, or Business and one year of Human Resources experience; or Associate’s degree and two years of administrative experience in Human Resources • 20–50% travel • Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday, with work potentially required at any time to meet business needs • Successfully pass a background and drug test • Ability to interview, screen, and recruit field and office employees • Knowledge of HR laws, practices, procedures, and trends • Ability to provide guidance and interpretation on HR policies, procedures, practices, and initiatives
