📋 Description

• Perform oral interpretation and translation for students and families whose primary language is not English during evaluations and other times as assigned • Provide real-time interpretation during early intervention and CPSE assessments • Accurately convey spoken language between English and the target language, preserving the original meaning, tone, and intent • Translate written documents, such as summaries of reports and other forms, as requested • Adhere to confidentiality requirements and professional ethics related to interpreting in EI and CPSE settings • Maintain a neutral and impartial stance during interpreting assignments

🎯 Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalent • Written and verbal fluency in English and the target language(s) • Strong understanding of medical and educational terminology relevant to early intervention and CPSE program • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals from diverse backgrounds • A qualifying criminal background check, driving record, and a valid driver’s license required • Ability to provide a current copy of all required health records
