📋 Description

• Respond to inbound telephone inquiries in a Claims Contact Center • Initiate auto and homeowner claims by obtaining preliminary loss information from agents, insureds, and third parties • Explain the claim process to customers • Authorize services such as roadside assistance and rental cars when applicable • Complete customer inquiries regarding the status of existing claims efficiently and accurately • Document all customer interactions clearly and accurately in the claim file • Maintain job knowledge through intermittent training and learning • Take inbound calls remotely for up to 7 hours per day • Collaborate within a supportive team led by a dedicated supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills • Proficient in both written and spoken English • Personal accountability for actions and outcomes • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong technical aptitude, including ability to navigate multiple systems, computer screens, and communication platforms simultaneously • Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues • Typing speed of at least 30 WPM with 90% accuracy • Customer service experience highly preferred • Remote contact center experience is a plus, but not required • Must reside within 50 miles of a designated Farmers corporate office • Must provide own chair and desk and have a dedicated workspace free of noise and distractions
