📋 Description

• Drive end-to-end development and execution of build and deployment plans • Lead large-scale infrastructure projects, including new site builds, site augments, and decommissioning • Coordinate collaboration among Infrastructure Acquisition, Network Operations, Supply Chain, Data Center Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other partners • Establish reporting frameworks covering deployment timelines, risks, and project health • Identify critical-path bottlenecks, risks, and blockers, and escalate them with data-driven mitigation strategies • Analyze workflows and implement process standardization and automation • Manage vendor and partner relationships for timely procurement and delivery of hardware and services • Help build and scale Fastly’s global edge computing network • Report to the Senior Manager

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5–7+ years driving large-scale infrastructure programs within cloud services, CDN, OTT, data center, or telecommunications environments • Technical fluency in data center and network infrastructure architecture, including power specifications, hardware deployment, and physical layer components • Experience working in a Production Engineering environment focused on Network Engineering, Acquisition, or Delivery • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and data visualization • Experience in process analysis and improvement • Experience with global capacity planning, supply chain logistics, and hardware deployment lifecycles • Strong stakeholder management and ability to drive consensus across engineering teams • Experience in incident management or post-mortem analysis • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into project roadmaps for non-technical stakeholders • Core business hours availability • Resume or CV and fully completed application required • PMP or other project management certification, Dell and Hyve hardware experience, and Arista and Ciena networking hardware experience are preferred
