📋 Description

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports for decision makers • Support data preparation, transformation, validation, and quality assurance activities • Conduct statistical and quantitative analysis using modern analytical tools and techniques • Support predictive analytics, risk analysis, and scenario-based assessments • Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate analytical findings and assumptions • Document methodologies, data sources, and analytical results • Support enterprise data management and data governance initiatives • Assist in developing repeatable analytical processes and automated reporting capabilities • Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences • Contribute to continuous improvement of data-driven decision support capabilities • Support advanced analytics initiatives within the Department of Homeland Security

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, analytics, or quantitative analysis • Experience using SQL to query and analyze data • Experience using Python for data analysis and reporting • Experience developing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate technical findings to business and mission stakeholders • United States citizenship required • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability and access to government systems and information • Must support an environment containing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) • Associate's degree or higher in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field • Must maintain applicable security clearances or certifications as required by the client or contractor • Preferred: Experience with Databricks, PySpark, modern cloud analytics platforms, predictive analytics, statistical modeling, Federal Government customers, large or mission-critical datasets, risk analytics, resilience analysis, infrastructure analysis, geospatial or location-based analytics • Preferred certifications in analytics, cloud technologies, data engineering, or visualization tools
