📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of five accounting professionals • Assess accounting processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and build scalable documented procedures • Own month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation under US GAAP • Improve Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll operations • Optimize NetSuite, FloQast, and related automation tools • Support multi-entity and intercompany accounting, including ASC 606 revenue recognition • Monitor and report financial metrics such as DSO, aged payables, and cash flow indicators • Design, document, and enforce internal controls and accounting policies • Partner with Finance, Operations, and leadership on strategic initiatives and scaling • Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, consultants, and other service providers • Support ad-hoc projects, analysis, and leadership requests

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required • CPA required or actively in progress, with current exam participation or a defined path to licensure • Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience • At least 3 years in a relevant management role • Public accounting background with a Big 4 or regional firm is a plus • Deep understanding of US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition, multi-entity accounting, and intercompany eliminations • Experience improving new or early-stage processes with measurable short-term impact • Proven people leadership and team development experience • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with NetSuite and FloQast is a plus but not required • Experience in IT services, managed services, or SaaS environments is preferred
