📋 Description

• Complete profitability analytics for the Inforce Management team • Provide capital, reinsurance, and analysis support for management planning and decision-making • Collaborate with pricing, modeling, reinsurance, finance, and company management teams • Analyze pricing for annuity business • Conduct pricing, projections, and analysis to evaluate reinsurance agreements • Assess and update product profitability metrics • Evaluate capital impacts of pricing or product decisions • Create summaries of product profitability • Make decisions based on product, profitability, reinsurance impacts, capital utilization, and risk • Update files and create documentation while following model governance procedures • Create product analyses and recommendations for company planning or forecasting • Support integration of new products, reinsurance treaties, pricing metrics, and management reporting updates • Develop and implement enhancements for repeatable and scalable processes • Provide guidance, mentorship, or subject matter expertise to others as needed • Perform other assigned functions, duties, and projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science or related degree or equivalent experience • ASA required • 2+ years of relevant experience • Experience within various actuarial functions with an understanding of pricing, capital, reinsurance, and/or financial metrics • Experience with and knowledge of GGY AXIS or similar actuarial modeling software • Technical skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), VBA, R, Alteryx, and actuarial software such as AXIS preferred • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning abilities • Ability to apply actuarial principles to work product • Commitment to delivering accurate information on schedule • Ability to identify issues proactively and support project decisions • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work independently in an agile environment with tight deadlines • Strong initiative and ability to manage project delivery and individual tasks in changing environments • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical audiences through verbal or written communication • Annuity product background preferred but not required, particularly Fixed Annuity, Fixed Indexed Annuity, or Registered Indexed Linked Annuity experience • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time • Regular and punctual attendance
