📋 Description

• Unify and mature security, IT, and compliance into a coherent strategy with shared standards, risk language, and a scalable roadmap • Own Fingerprint’s application security posture, including zero-trust principles, vulnerability management, security-by-default practices, and vendor security assessments • Scale the compliance program, including evidence collection, framework expansion, and enterprise compliance requirements • Own the SOC 2 Type 2 annual audit cycle, auditor management, control maturation, and policy framework • Run reliable IT operations for a globally distributed engineering organization, including tooling, processes, access management, endpoint management, and identity governance • Manage the Compliance Lead and Lead IT Engineer • Communicate security posture, compliance status, and IT health to the VP of Engineering and leadership team • Partner with Cloud Platform and Engineering leadership on infrastructure security, IAM, logging, alerting, and embedded security practices • Represent Fingerprint’s security and compliance posture to enterprise customers, prospects, partners, and auditors • Own security questionnaires, customer due diligence calls, and contractual security requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in security, IT, or GRC • At least 3 years managing a team • Genuine fluency across application security, IT operations, and compliance/GRC • Primary ownership experience of a SOC 2 audit cycle • Understanding of evidence management, auditor relationships, and sustainable control operations • OWASP familiarity • Experience with vulnerability management programs, such as Snyk or equivalent • Experience with security review processes for engineering teams • Identity and access management experience, such as Okta or equivalent • Endpoint management experience • Experience leading remote workforce IT at scale • Ability to translate security and compliance complexity into business language for leadership and customers • Preferred: ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA experience • Preferred: familiarity with Snyk, Wiz, Cloudflare, and Okta • Preferred: enterprise security questionnaire experience • Preferred: experience in a high-growth SaaS company
