📋 Description

• Draft immigration forms, supporting documentation, and client correspondence • Cross-check documentation against legal requirements to ensure accuracy and minimize revisions • Assemble immigration petition and application packets, ensuring forms, supporting documents, and exhibits are complete and correctly organized • Call and correspond directly with clients regarding missing documents, receipt confirmation, routine questions, and packet status updates • Track packet status and deadlines, flagging missing information or documents needed from clients or attorneys • Process incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, logging, and routing time-sensitive correspondence, notices, and filings • Maintain organized physical and digital case files through scanning, filing, and data entry • Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to confirm packet requirements and ensure timely, accurate submission • Handle passports, identification, immigration records, and medical records with care, accuracy, and confidentiality

🎯 Requirements

• Immigration legal experience required — law firm, legal admin, paralegal, or similar role within an immigration practice • Self-motivated and able to drive priorities and tasks with minimal supervision • Comfortable with high-volume, hands-on, manual work • Sharp attention to detail; able to catch missing documents and errors • Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple packets and deadlines • Clear, professional phone and written communication skills • Trustworthy with sensitive and confidential client information • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven legal environment • Specific immigration filing experience (family-based, employment-based, or similar) preferred • Experience in a tech or startup environment preferred • Familiarity with immigration case management software preferred • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
