📋 Description

• Identify and pitch high-value opportunities where data, analytics, or automation can improve business outcomes • Own projects end-to-end, from problem definition through implementation, adoption, and impact measurement • Partner directly with stakeholders to understand goals, challenge assumptions, and shape solutions to ambiguous problems • Build scalable, production-quality data models in dbt • Design reusable data foundations and semantic-layer capabilities supporting BI, operational workflows, ML, and AI use cases • Improve data quality, consistency, and usability through modeling, testing, documentation, and metric governance • Help raise the team’s technical and analytical bar through thoughtful design and knowledge sharing • Potentially build canonical data models, improve the semantic layer, create dashboards and self-service analytics, develop predictive models, activate data in operational workflows, and prototype AI agents

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience solving complex business problems with data in analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, analytics, or a similar role • Track record of independently identifying opportunities and owning projects from idea through delivery and adoption • Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders and influencing what should be built and how problems should be approached • Excellent SQL skills and proficiency with Python • Extensive experience with dbt and Snowflake, including building clean, reusable data models • Experience governing and building dashboards in business intelligence tools • Experience designing or working with semantic layers and governed metric definitions • Familiarity with predictive modeling and machine learning concepts is a plus • Experience with reverse ETL and data activation is a plus • Experience with front-end development and creating user-facing applications is a plus
