📋 Description

• Handle all calls to the Customer Support Center’s general sales line and address customer issues • Provide prompt assistance by writing orders, tracking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns • Recommend solutions based on customer needs and interests • Estimate, quote, discuss contract terms, address warranties and delivery status, and issue credits for large regional customers • Work with the sales group to develop and market product lines • Contact target accounts monthly to promote management-determined special offers • Collaborate with Category Management, Legal, Supply Chain, and other departments • Research and resolve customer issues • Follow up on unresolved customer inquiries • Create and maintain reports supporting the sales process • Update customer pricing matrices to maintain competitiveness and maximize margins • Act as a liaison and support National Account Managers in achieving sales excellence

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role • Prior experience in a customer service environment preferred • Ability to grow into an Inside Sales position • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access • Knowledge of AS400 is a plus • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and various office machines • Ability to ask probing questions, request clarification, and paraphrase to show understanding • Ability to adjust priorities and ensure successful deployment of customer accounts, bids, and projects • Ability to learn new programs and use them to improve performance • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines • Ability to use logic and reasoning to evaluate solutions and resolve problems • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing • Ability to understand spoken and written information • Ability to identify when something is wrong or likely to go wrong
