📋 Description

• Maintain and update documents, spreadsheets, and other resources used for time collection and payroll processing • Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, wage garnishments and withholdings, sick leave accruals, and timekeeping information • Calculate mileage reimbursements and advanced per diem payments, ensuring proper payroll withholding is applied • Enter and upload payroll data into payroll software • Reconcile payroll control totals, review payroll data for accuracy, and save supporting payroll reports • Prepare, run, and distribute weekly payroll reports as needed • Compile and review billing data for accurate and timely client invoicing • Prepare, generate, and distribute weekly client invoices and billing documentation • Research and resolve billing discrepancies • Process vendor invoices by reviewing, coding, and entering them into the accounting system • Maintain accounts payable records and supporting documentation • Process and deposit cash receipts into the bank • Perform accounts receivable collection activities and follow up on past-due balances • Review, sort, and distribute incoming mail for the Accounting team • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation • Assist with additional accounting activities, special projects, and other assigned duties • Act as a FlexTrades Core Values champion

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or related field with relevant experience • At least one year prior accounting experience, preferably including payroll, billing, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable • Self-starter • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel and Word • Attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills • Ability to prioritize and multitask with ease and professionalism • Solid interpersonal and customer service skills • Bullhorn, Sage Intacct, and/or UKG Ready experience preferred
