📋 Description

• Build, lead, mentor, and develop the product operations and transformation function • Own the operating model and portfolio governance, including cadence, metrics standards, tooling standards, and budget-backed decision rights • Manage the directly owned team creating shared tools, including reviews, feedback, hiring, onboarding, and training • Transition over time toward owning the product side of one or more delivery squads • Drive rollout of Ford Pro’s Domain/Squad operating model • Define squad formation, ownership, dependencies, and accountability practices • Train teams on new processes and manage organizational change • Identify, codify, and share best practices across teams • Support adoption of AI-intensive software and product practices • Partner with engineering and product leaders on AI skills and agentic workflows • Build playbooks and enablement for repeatable AI practices • Map AI adoption and delivery to business value and create executive readouts • Automate reporting activities including feedback aggregation, theme extraction, release notes, experiment summaries, and dashboards • Design, deploy, and govern AI tooling for product managers and builders • Own the internal AI knowledge base and context layer grounded in Ford Pro data • Define AI shipping, review, experimentation, data governance, IP, and security guardrails • Build and operate shared products, tooling, and datasets • Build reusable LLM skills and agentic workflows • Prioritize the shared-solution backlog • Establish roadmap reviews, product reviews, planning rituals, cross-squad syncs, and sharing forums • Set standards for Jira/Atlassian and Jira Product Discovery • Build portfolio visibility across roadmaps, shipments, tradeoffs, dependencies, and business value • Define and govern KPIs and outcome metrics • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders • Present to technical and non-technical audiences • Advance product operations practices and the product community of practice

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience • 10+ years of experience in product management, product operations, transformation or program leadership within a software or technology-intensive organization • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, building and managing teams and direct reports • Demonstrated track record installing new operating models and driving real adoption across multiple teams • Familiarity with AI tools related to product management, design, and engineering • Strong command of agile software delivery across Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, including supporting rituals, metrics, and tooling • Deep familiarity with modern product management practice and the full product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery • Experience defining KPIs and OKRs and building executive-level reporting, roadmaps, and portfolio governance • Judgment to own ambiguity, set direction, and hold senior product and engineering leaders accountable while digging into details • Direct, recent product management experience and readiness to support squads or eventually lead a group of squads • Hands-on experience embedding AI and agentic workflows into product and software development processes • Experience developing or operating software for fleets, connected vehicles, telematics, or operationally intensive B2B SaaS domains • Experience with Jira Product Discovery or similar and modern product analytics tooling • Lean, Lean Startup, and human-centered product development practice • MBA or equivalent and relevant product or agile certifications are preferred/“even better” • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship is not available
