📋 Description

• Assist client staff with day-to-day Fortinet product operation and support • Develop methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades, and updates • Develop test plans and test new features and/or releases • Verify configurations and implement best practices • Perform interoperability evaluations of devices interacting with Fortinet products • Provide training and knowledge transfer to client staff • Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet products and technologies • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion • Work with the end user to define specific daily activities throughout the agreement

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ Years experience in LAN/WAN /Internet consulting, support and/or administration • 5+ Years experience with Network Security Products • 2+ Years experience with Fortinet products • Experience working as a Professional Services Consultant/ Engineer a plus • Solid understanding of security and networking principals and technologies • Knowledge of Network Security Infrastructure – Switching, Routing, Load Balancing, WiFi • Knowledge of Security systems – Firewall, IPS, VPN, Antivirus, AntiSpam, Web Filtering, Application Control • Excellent troubleshooting skills • Outstanding oral communication and presentation skills • Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently • Flexibility during times of change • Ability to elicit cooperation from upper management, clients, and other departments • Ability to bring projects to successful completion through political sensitivity • Strong commitment and self-driven approach • Able to travel as needed • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related work related experience • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
