• Manage assigned accounts and develop positive relationships with customers and construction contractors • Serve as subject matter expert on construction contracts, proposals and operations • Drive client retention, renewals, upsells and client satisfaction • Oversee project support, including scope development, material take-offs from plans and specifications, proposal review and construction management • Manage Account Managers on day-to-day operational processes, contract renewals, schedules, troubleshooting and software training • Identify root causes of customer success and failures and drive process enhancement requirements • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to exceed customer goals and performance metrics • Provide input on new processes and workflows • Maintain superior customer service, operational excellence and strategic insight • Work with Finance on billing setup and invoicing • Hire and develop staff, including setting objectives and conducting performance reviews • Coach and guide team members • Participate in budget development, revenue forecasting and profit-and-loss management • Deliver program reviews to client senior management • Assist the sales team in identifying business opportunities outside Job Order Contracting
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting related experience related to healthcare construction and construction management • Knowledge of key concepts including plans, deliverables, scope and tasks • Confident communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external organizations • Ability to build relationships and gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables • Sound decision-making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment • Consultative approach to managing complex client relationships • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities across multiple projects • Working knowledge and experience preparing and processing construction bid documents • Ability to identify client or staffing issues, create effective solutions, and know when to escalate • Valid US driver’s license • Ability to travel 50–70% of the time within the assigned geographic area (Cook County, Illinois)
