📋 Description

• Leverage research and development, therapeutic area, and operational study execution experience to grow and maintain an innovative, profitable business portfolio • Lead early client engagement conversations regarding Fortrea’s operational delivery strategies • Lead cross-functional teams in designing differentiated operational execution strategies • Provide post-award strategy oversight, implementation monitoring, and strategy redesign • Present Fortrea’s medical, scientific, and operational capabilities to clients • Design winning trial strategies and integrated solutions to improve differentiation, win rate, and portfolio profitability • Advocate for client needs and develop senior-level relationships with clients, key opinion leaders, and vendor partners • Lead business development strategies, including RFI responses, proposal development, and bid defense preparation • Support Fortrea’s visibility through publications and presentations at conferences, meetings, and webinars • Assess post-award strategy compliance using operational, financial, and quality metrics and dashboards • Contribute to quality control, risk assurance, process improvement, and project performance metrics • Partner with Fortrea leadership to implement initiatives that improve business performance and expand cross-therapeutic-area and functional opportunities • Deliver against company, department, and project operating plans in a global, virtual, and complex environment • Build a scalable organization and foster ownership, accountability, continuous learning, and talent development • Coordinate global teams, set expectations, communicate consistently, and mentor colleagues • Contribute to therapeutic-area commercial and scientific leadership and direction • Ensure appropriate development and delivery of department, therapeutic-area, and program-specific training • Participate in training to advance knowledge of therapeutic areas, drug development, and GCP • Perform other duties as needed or assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant and equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements • 5 or more years of research and development and clinical research experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environments • Preferably 3 or more years in Drug Delivery Project Management • Advanced degree, PhD, and/or MBA preferred • Experience with client relationships and understanding of business development • Demonstrated vision, strategy, and growth experience • Ability to review and analyze relevant data to build evidence-based clinical trial strategies • Strong networking abilities and willingness to work with individuals across the globe • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills • Financial acumen to contribute effectively to competitive, profitable study or program strategies • In-depth knowledge of operations • Ability to work outside normal office hours as required by the role
