📋 Description

• Oversee all technical aspects of Synapse product HL7 integration from installation, configuration, and validation through go-live • Work with the MI Project Management team to deliver high-quality Synapse product solutions • Act as primary technical resource for MI HL7 implementation projects across Synapse product lines • Design end-to-end HL7 integration architectures, including inbound, outbound, and bidirectional integrations • Perform enterprise-level data migrations, interface integrations, and data conversions • Integrate Synapse MI products with third-party healthcare information systems including dictation, EMR, PACS, CVIS, RIS, HIS, VNA, Synchronicity, LIS, and Anatomic Pathology systems • Design reusable integration patterns and templates • Develop secure end-to-end communication using TLS, VPNs, certificates, and encryption • Create customer-specific solution designs, best-practice documentation, specification revisions, validation and testing procedures, and test plans • Learn new Synapse and third-party products as released • Participate in the Subject Matter Expert program and non-project activities • Mentor, train, and facilitate knowledge transfer to peers • Lead projects independently with minimal supervision • Maintain documentation through periodic review and publication • Collaborate with sales, technical support, field service, end users, vendors, and internal service and administrative groups • Participate in pre-sale customer and sales discussions • Adhere to quality, regulatory, U.S. FDA, ISO 13485, and applicable legal requirements • Participate in peer review of test scripts and identify, test, and develop new HL7 integration processes and improvements • Supervise the work of others as requested • Travel occasionally, up to 25%, based on business need

🎯 Requirements

• BS, BE or equivalent degree in computer related field, or AA with significant experience working in a related industry • Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in HL7 integration in a hospital related environment • Experienced in use and applicability of HL-7 and DICOM standards • Experienced in working with relational databases (Oracle and SQL Server) • Ability to implement HL7 integration to third-party vendors for at least one or more Fuji Synapse product lines independently • Strong knowledge of HL7 v2 (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM), DICOM, FHIR, and IHE profiles • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athena, Trubridge (CPSi), Meditech, Affinity, etc. • Proficiency in scripting languages (Lua, JavaScript, Python or similar) for data transformation • Hands-on experience with interface engines (Iguana, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, CorePoint, Ensemble, etc.) • Healthcare-related field or hospital environment experience required • Experience with MS Windows Client and Server Operating Systems, MS Clustering, MS Message Queuing, MS Internet Information Server, TCP/IP networking, MS products, VMWare, and Remote Access • Knowledge of radiology, dictation, cardiology, and electronic medical records systems workflow • Expert level knowledge of PACS and Clinical Information Systems for Cardiology, Radiology, EIS, Laboratory, Pathology, VNA and related services • Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, leadership, organizational, communication, decision-making, and time-management skills • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, multitask, and interact with various teams in a matrix environment • Ability to transfer knowledge to peers and associates • Certification in HL7, CompTIA Security+ or Windows Network is a plus
