📋 Description

• Oversee all technical aspects of Synapse product HL7 integration from installation, configuration, and validation through product go-live • Work closely with the MI Project Management team to deliver high-quality Synapse product solutions • Serve as primary technical resource for MI HL7 implementation projects across Synapse product lines • Design end-to-end HL7 integration architectures, including inbound, outbound, and bidirectional integrations • Perform enterprise-level custom projects, including data migrations, interface integration, and data conversion • Integrate Synapse MI products with third-party healthcare information systems such as dictation, EMR, PACS, CVIS, RIS, HIS, VNA, Synchronicity, LIS, and Anatomic Pathology systems • Design reusable integration patterns and templates • Develop secure end-to-end communication using TLS, VPNs, certificates, and encryption • Develop customer-specific solution design, best-practice, specification, validation, and testing documentation • Learn new Synapse and third-party products as released • Participate in the Subject Matter Expert program and non-project activities • Mentor, train, and transfer knowledge to peers • Lead projects independently with minimal supervision • Maintain existing written documentation through periodic review and publication • Ensure compliance with company quality, regulatory, FDA, ISO 13485, legal, and industry requirements • Participate in peer review of test scripts and identify, test, and develop new HL7 integration processes and improvements • Participate in pre-sale discussions with customers and sales staff • Supervise the work of others as requested

🎯 Requirements

• BS, BE or equivalent degree in computer related field; AA with significant experience working in a related industry • Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in HL7 integration in a hospital related environment • Experience designing, implementing, validating, documenting, and executing complex technical projects • Experienced in HL-7 and DICOM standards • Experience with relational databases, including Oracle and SQL Server • Ability to implement HL7 integration to third-party vendors for at least one or more Fuji Synapse product lines independently • Strong knowledge of HL7 v2 (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM), DICOM, FHIR, and IHE profiles • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athena, Trubridge (CPSi), Meditech, and Affinity • Proficiency in Lua, JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages for data transformation • Hands-on experience with interface engines such as Iguana, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, CorePoint, and Ensemble • Experience in healthcare-related field or hospital environment • Experience with computer network technology and high-performance computing systems • Familiarity with MS Windows Client and Server Operating Systems, MS Clustering, MS Message Queuing, MS Internet Information Server, and basic TCP/IP networking • Proficient with Microsoft products, VMware, and remote access • Knowledge of radiology, dictation, cardiology, and electronic medical records workflows • Expert-level knowledge of PACS and Clinical Information Systems for Cardiology, Radiology, EIS, Laboratory, Pathology, VNA, and related services • Strong project management, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, organizational, time-management, negotiation, prioritization, oral, and written communication skills • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, multitask, and interact with various teams in a matrix environment • Ability to transfer knowledge to peers and associates • Certification in HL7, CompTIA Security+, or Windows network is a plus
