📋 Description

• Own the successful execution of customer data migrations, ensuring projects are completed accurately and within established timelines • Analyze customer datasets to identify inconsistencies, quality issues, and migration risks, and determine remediation strategies • Apply data cleanup and preparation techniques to maximize successfully migrated data while preserving accuracy and integrity • Develop, modify, maintain, and execute migration scripts and tooling • Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve migration challenges and support onboarding • Develop understanding of Commerce7 APIs and related tools • Perform data validation and quality assurance checks • Communicate migration outcomes, issues, and next steps to customers and internal stakeholders • Respond to customer questions regarding migration results and data-related decisions • Manage multiple migration projects simultaneously • Drive improvements to migration processes, tools, documentation, and best practices • Lead and execute complex migration projects involving large datasets or non-standard requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of scripting concepts and programming fundamentals; JavaScript/Node.js exposure preferred • Experience working with technical tools or scripts to automate tasks, manipulate data, or improve workflow efficiency • Familiarity with APIs and how systems exchange data • Experience working with structured data and performing data analysis or data quality reviews • Understanding of data privacy, security best practices, and responsible handling of sensitive customer information • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL concepts • 2+ years of experience in data migration, implementation, data operations, customer onboarding, technical support, or a related technical role • Preferred: Proficiency with NodeJS, APIs, and writing scripts • Preferred: Understanding of asynchronous programming, especially JavaScript • Preferred: Experience with REST and GraphQL • Preferred: Ability to write SQL queries for data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation
