📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain data processes and solutions for efficient data movement and transformation • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses for business intelligence and analytics • Gather requirements and provide data solutions with IT, product, analytics, and business stakeholders • Monitor production schedules, provide progress updates, and report issues to lead developers • Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance • Collaborate on data security measures including access controls, encryption, and data masking • Perform data analysis and provide insights for departmental decision-making • Stay current with data engineering trends and recommend tools and best practices • Participate across the data lifecycle from ideation and analysis through design, development, and support • Perform other duties as assigned or requested

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of experience designing and analyzing algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for scalable, highly available systems • 3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data management • 3 years of experience with SQL and database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB • 3 years of experience with data warehousing concepts and solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or relevant experience and/or education in lieu of a bachelor’s degree • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory • Experience defining system architectures and evaluating technical feasibility trade-offs • Experience with technology systems and healthcare data solutions • Experience with cloud platforms and data services, including AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience in data governance, data quality, and data security best practices • Experience translating requirements, mockups, prototypes, or user stories into technical designs • Experience writing fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable data-related code • Experience building data pipelines using Python, R, or equivalent programming languages • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments and mentor junior data engineers • Compliance with HIPAA, data security guidelines, company policies, federal and state laws, and training requirements
