📋 Description

• Code, test, debug, implement, and document low to moderately complex programs • Create program code and technical documentation • Design systems and programs to meet business needs • Prepare detailed specifications for program development and coding • Ensure programs meet standards and technical specifications • Perform technical analysis and component delivery • Gather information from existing systems and analyze program and time requirements • Assist the project manager with time estimates and task justifications • Design programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs • Write specifications for low- to moderate-complexity programs • Work with clients and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements • Develop test plans to verify the logic of new or modified programs • Conduct quality assurance activities, including peer reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of application development and batch programming with UNIX/C and SQL • Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies • Knowledge of relational database management systems such as SQL Server and Oracle • Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including coding and testing • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required • Willingness to participate in on-call requirements: 1 week every 8 weeks • Video cameras must be used during all interviews and the initial week of orientation • Healthcare IT systems experience is preferred • Mainframe COBOL programming experience is preferred
