📋 Description

• Provide leadership and oversight for Site Visit Leads/Investigators during patient safety and compliance case reviews • Lead the task team managing case intake, triage, tracking, review, and resolution • Train, motivate, and mentor team members • Manage secure intake and documentation of patient safety and compliance cases • Redact sensitive information and maintain records in accordance with federal regulations • Safeguard case records through secure storage, transfer, and handling • Develop and maintain case tracking tools, metrics, and outcome monitoring • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for HRSA, OPTN Committees, and other stakeholders • Assess cases for severity, urgency, and scope • Develop initial case review plans and identify required data and stakeholders • Escalate cases and coordinate external reviews with entities such as CMS • Coordinate case-related activities among HRSA, OPTN Committees, and contractors • Analyze case data for trends, non-compliance patterns, and patient safety risks • Recommend process improvements, policy updates, and educational initiatives • Conduct documented case reviews and draft final case reports • Oversee implementation of decisions, corrective actions, follow-up activities, and member-record updates • Manage continuous quality improvement for case intake, triage, review, and resolution processes • Evaluate historical trends and operational reviews to refine workflows and policies • Report progress to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams, task leads, and contractors

🎯 Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in compliance, project management, quality improvement, auditing, or investigations within healthcare or regulatory environments • Bachelor’s degree • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local regulations • Ability to use independent judgment to determine risk • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Leadership capabilities • Strong organizational skills for schedules and audit logistics • Ability to handle sensitive information securely and discreetly • Ability to travel to member organizations throughout the country, up to 15% of the time • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance • No current clearance required • No U.S. citizenship required
