• Lead and support OPTN committees focused on membership oversight, patient safety, and policy development • Schedule and facilitate committee meetings, develop agendas, prepare support materials, and lead discussions • Collaborate with committee chairs and leadership to track activities and communicate updates • Implement secure, efficient, and compliant virtual meeting processes, including technical support and post-meeting documentation • Develop and maintain committee management plans covering activities, milestones, composition, and outputs • Create governance documents, operational manuals, SOPs, member-selection procedures, decision-making responsibilities, and conflict-of-interest logs • Prepare public-facing materials about committee activities, accomplishments, and membership • Support evidence-based organ transplantation and allocation policy development • Draft policy proposals, guidance documents, public comment reports, and board recommendations • Ensure proposed policies align with CMS, HRSA, federal, and organizational requirements • Maintain documentation for policy audits and regulatory reporting • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using Excel, Tableau, or NVivo • Provide reports and dashboards on committee outputs, performance trends, and policy impact • Track committee projects and policy proposals from inception through implementation • Act as primary contact for committee members and stakeholders, resolving operational challenges • Engage the transplant community to gather input and encourage collaboration • Coordinate with contractors, OPTN support teams, IT, and policy experts • Lead committee-member onboarding and annual training plans • Deliver virtual training sessions and maintain a secure repository of training resources • Implement a subject matter expertise plan for clinical, analytical, policy, and risk-management contributors
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field • Master’s degree (MPH, MPP, MHA) preferred • At least 5+ years of experience in committee coordination, project management, or policy development • Experience in healthcare, compliance, regulatory, and/or nonprofit environments • Experience facilitating meetings and engaging multiple stakeholders • Ability to lead virtual committee meetings and guide collaborative decision-making • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives • Strong understanding of policy drafting, federal regulations, and evidence-based research • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis using Tableau, NVivo, and Excel • Familiarity with CMS and HRSA healthcare regulations • Ability to prepare detailed reports, agendas, and governance materials • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Teams • Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms and committee documentation systems • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities • Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance • NACI (T1) public trust requirement • No U.S. citizenship required
