📋 Description

• Deliver solutions to collect, collate, and transform disparate data sources into cohesive data solutions • Create and maintain ETL pipelines • Collaborate with developers, data-source teams, and application teams • Work across the software lifecycle, emphasizing design and development • Contribute to application and testing stacks • Realize system requirements and provide custom implementations • Facilitate and explain architecture and software-development decisions • Support clean, maintainable, testable, and extensible code • Contribute to requirements, design, development, and testing • Participate in Agile estimation, iterative planning, and retrospectives • Manage code and other artifacts using GitHub • Provide team and developer guidance to improve productivity • Support scientific applications involving large biological, genomic, and/or proteomic datasets

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering/Engineering Technology, or related field • 5+ years of relevant experience • Experience using SQL for ETL scripts • Experience leveraging Azure cloud services and Azure DB as a service, including Cosmos and SQL Server • Experience leveraging Azure Data Factory or similar technology • Experience leveraging Azure Functions or similar technology • Experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions (CI/CD) • Experience working with and improving existing code bases • Experience working in an Agile software development environment • Ability to obtain and maintain a NIH Public Trust • US citizenship is not required • Prior NHLBI BioData Catalyst experience is a plus • Active NIH badge is a plus • Experience developing scientific systems using biological, genomic, and/or proteomic datasets is desired • Experience using Java and JavaScript is desired
