📋 Description

• Shape sourcing strategies across categories and advise on supplier selection, negotiation approaches, and compliance impacts • Assess early business requirements against cost, schedule, risk, quality, and policy objectives • Lead major procurement initiatives as a cross-functional lead • Integrate contracting, compliance, and stakeholder needs • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and milestones • Lead end-to-end execution of complex RFPs/RFQs and supplier evaluations • Interpret procurement policies, customer requirements, and regulatory constraints • Ensure accurate flow-downs, documentation, and governance • Identify and mitigate cost, schedule, performance, compliance, and commercial-term risks • Guide stakeholders on compliance obligations • Lead supplier engagement, negotiations, capability assessments, and issue escalations • Develop procurement best practices, tools, and training • Mentor team members to improve sourcing and negotiation capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or related field; 4+ years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree • 7+ years in strategic sourcing, FAR-compliant procurement, contract negotiations, or a related supply chain discipline • Experience leading complex RFPs, negotiating commercial terms, or managing cross-functional procurement initiatives strongly preferred • Experience reviewing and negotiating EULA and cloud agreements nice to have • Strong ability to understand procurement objectives and drive initiatives to completion • Ability to deliver cost savings, risk mitigation, optimized terms and conditions, and compliant procurement packages • In-depth knowledge of negotiating terms and pricing for IT hardware, cloud products, and SaaS products • Knowledge of professional services, negotiations, terms and conditions, and risk identification and mitigation • Proven cross-functional project leadership, including timelines, stakeholders, and sourcing deliverables • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging internal teams, suppliers, and senior leadership • Proficiency in Excel, Word, source-to-pay systems, contract management systems, or procurement systems • U.S. citizenship required
