📋 Description

• Support the critical mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs • Provide customer and technical expertise for the VA • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and employee engagement • Drive business growth in collaboration with Business Area, Sector, and Division resources • Provide strategic support, leadership, and value in pursuing new VA technology opportunities • Identify, develop, and prioritize opportunities for VA Benefits systems • Ensure proposals and program deliverables align with agency priorities and GDIT processes • Develop and maintain relationships with VA customers, partners, IT management, staff, and industry • Ensure alignment with Business Area, Sector, Division, and company strategy and objectives • Set strategic direction for the VA business while aligning with broader organizational strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, science, or related discipline • 15+ years of experience leading enterprise-level technology programs or portfolios of similar or greater size of the VA • Strong understanding of VA’s healthcare and benefits mission, organizational dynamics, operational environment, and technology challenges • Ability to grow GDIT’s business at the VA by identifying emerging mission needs, shaping differentiated technology solutions/strategies, and leveraging trusted relationships • Experience coordinating, managing, and supervising VA Account operations and strategy • Experience engaging effectively with executive and senior leadership, including customer and board-level briefings • Experience thriving in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment • Experience motivating teams over long periods and in challenging situations • NACI (T1) public trust requirement • Preferred: Master’s degree • Preferred: 15+ years supporting VA technology outcomes • Preferred: Long-standing relationships with current VA leaders and decision makers • Preferred: Experience developing budgets • Desired: 10+ years supporting large Federal government contracts or benefits systems • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant corporate and government regulations and standards • Ability to travel up to 25% to customer and senior leadership meetings
