📋 Description

• Prepare quarterly and annual Statutory Accounting Practices (SAP) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) financial statements • Perform detailed analysis and prepare supplemental schedules and disclosures • Prepare periodic NAIC financial statement schedules, exhibits, and other regulatory filings • Prepare account reconciliations for GAAP and statutory accounting • Prepare routine monthly and quarterly journal entries • Develop in-depth knowledge of the accounting discipline • Execute functional policy and strategy using prior experience and acquired expertise • Support internal and external audits • Drive US GAAP and Statutory accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence • Deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis • Apply understanding of key business drivers and how the team integrates with other teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting or Finance • Insurance industry experience required • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Public accounting experience preferred • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Employees may be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing
