• Oversee supplier relationships and ensure part health through order coverage and lead-time management • Collaborate with buying and contract performance management functions to advance procurement processes • Apply sourcing policy, manage negotiations and commercial deal strategy, and manage supplier issues daily • Progress supplier selection, proposals and quotes, quote analysis, negotiation, business approvals, supply awards, and contract authoring • Manage internal and external relationships to drive purchase-order execution • Partner with supplier teams and procurement operations to ensure compliance with sourcing and procurement requirements • Ensure supplier order health so contracts do not run out of quantity or time and are renegotiated according to sourcing policies • Lead analysis of accounts-payable discrepancies and drive timely reconciliation • Lead part-procurement or technical-change projects requiring supplier engagement and support • Develop creative contractual solutions to promote contract performance and total cost of ownership • Contribute to strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within the area of responsibility • Communicate complex or sensitive information and build consensus • Analyze data and use technical expertise to support recommendations • Make decisions and solve moderately complex tasks or problems affecting the function
• Must be the spouse of an active duty, Reserve, or National Guard member serving in the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, or Space Force • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must be “career-ready,” possessing the relevant educational background, professional certifications, or work history for the selected corporate track • Must commit to a full 12-week schedule, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Sourcing & Buying-Procurement experience • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and Sourcing • Must meet U.S. Person status requirements for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee/refugee status • Commercial skills in negotiations, supplier management, and commercial strategy • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to lead programs/projects • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Strong communication, decision-making, collaboration, analytical thinking, and critical-thinking skills
