📋 Description

• Provide field service, including installation, repair, and maintenance, on GED product lines for international and domestic customers • Install and commission new units and complex production lines at customer locations • Set up mechanical workings, electrical and electronic controls, PLCs, and pneumatic systems • Perform inspections, troubleshooting, training, and other technical after-sales services at customer locations • Recognize and recommend preventative and corrective maintenance • Install upgrades and carry out revisions • Maintain timesheets, work orders, and service reports, including follow-up and safety concerns • Maintain customer relationships and identify customer needs • Make recommendations to promote company revenue growth • Manage expenses • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology, or 5+ years equivalent experience • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models • Ability to monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure proper machine operation • Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and determine required maintenance • Ability to conduct tests and inspections to evaluate quality or performance • Ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions • Ability to assess relative costs and benefits of potential actions • Ability to repair machines or systems using needed tools • Ability to recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong • Ability to visualize moved or rearranged parts • Ability to understand spoken information • Ability to communicate information clearly • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems • Ability to combine information into general rules or conclusions • Ability to be detail-oriented and thorough • Ability to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems • Ability to adapt to considerable workplace variety • Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges • Minimum 2 years’ experience in controls, mechanics, and pneumatics desired • Experience with robotics preferred • Minimum 2 years’ experience in mechatronics and machinery maintenance desired • Valid Drivers’ License required • Ability to obtain passport required
