📋 Description

• Perform installation, calibration, and commissioning of GE Precision Healthcare medical imaging equipment, including Monitoring, Telemetary and Diagnostic Cardiology systems • Conduct preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting on complex electrical, mechanical, and software-driven systems • Diagnose and repair intricate technical issues involving circuit analysis, system diagnostics, and software debugging • Provide on-site technical support, respond to service calls, resolve technical problems, and offer operational guidance • Collaborate with clinical staff and healthcare professionals to understand equipment performance needs and optimize system functionality • Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports using company-provided tools and systems • Manage assigned inventory of parts, tools, and test equipment • Participate in advanced product training and continuous learning • Adhere to company safety procedures, quality standards, and medical-device regulatory requirements • Act as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced field engineers • Build and maintain customer relationships through professional conduct and exceptional service delivery • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, service contract renewals, and sales leads

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related technical field • Minimum of 3+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing complex medical imaging equipment • Proven expertise troubleshooting and repairing sophisticated electronic, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical applications related to medical imaging • Proficiency reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals • Ability to work independently under pressure • Strong problem-solving skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including explaining complex technical issues to non-technical personnel • Customer-focused mindset and dedication to high-quality service • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within an assigned service territory, including overnight stays • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and work in hospital and clinic environments • Familiarity with medical-device regulatory requirements, including FDA and ISO • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard computer applications • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Must comply with GEHC background check, post-offer drug test, customer access policies, required immunizations, and additional drug tests or background checks as applicable
