📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repairs • Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs, including dismantling and rebuilding machines as needed • Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers • Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems • Document product problems and resolutions in detail • Repair, troubleshoot, modify, and test complex technical problems on Mitsubishi Machining products • Perform services on-site at customer facilities or by telephone when permitted • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes • Ability to use basic hand tools • Ability to operate a computer with Windows operating systems • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Comfort working at heights • Valid driver’s license • Experience with electrical measurement and inspection techniques, including voltmeters and oscilloscopes • Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems, including ball screws, bearings, gearing, and way systems • Experience with mechanical measurement and inspection techniques, including indicators, micrometers, gage blocks, and optical comparators • Ability to operate a motor vehicle • Good visual and color acuity • Ability to travel Monday through Friday, primarily throughout the US, with possible international travel • Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise • Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, standing, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling • Associate’s or technical degree preferred • Laser interferometer and ball bar experience is a plus
