📋 Description

• Provide onsite technical support and installations at customer locations • Solve, diagnose, and resolve equipment and customer issues • Answer customer questions and resolve customer issues • Manage and update individual service tickets throughout the day • Ensure equipment operates properly at customer sites • Assist customers with process improvement and optimization • Determine whether issues are warranty-related or at the customer’s expense • Build strong customer relationships through onsite visits and post-shipment service and installations • Provide feedback for manual updates • Lead, assist, and support team members during runoffs, installations, rework installations, and onsite service • Share customer information within the department • Maintain expert technical knowledge of PVA products • Maintain confidentiality of customer information

🎯 Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills • Strong verbal communication and listening skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Sound judgment and ability to anticipate consequences and contingencies • Calm, tactful demeanor in difficult situations • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with urgency and follow-through • Well organized, analytical, and detail oriented • Ability to follow direction with focused attention • Initiative and willingness to learn • Strong computer and Excel skills • Technical inclination in mechanical, controls, software, or related areas • Minimum one (1)+ year of technical service and commercial experience preferred • Associate degree in engineering preferred • Ability to travel heavily domestically • Ability to travel outside the geographic area • Ability to carry up to 50 lbs. • Onsite training in Upstate New York at the start of employment
