📋 Description

• Perform on-time and accurate preventative maintenance in one or more equipment modalities • Learn to complete Field Modification Instructions (FMIs) and/or Instrument Service Information bulletins (ISIs) • Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installation • Work with experienced field engineers on basic troubleshooting and service repairs for designated equipment • Communicate and partner effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customers • Ensure customer issue resolution and proper follow-up to drive customer satisfaction • Recommend value-added services to help customers operate their businesses more efficiently • Maintain customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner • Order repair parts and manage cycle times • Use the GEHC escalation process and collaborate with regional and national support to implement corrective action plans • Serve as a member of the account community for key accounts • Engage commercial counterparts, identify potential sales leads, participate in contract renewals and other sales opportunities, and assist with revenue programs • Build and enhance customer relationships to become a perceived business partner • Monitor competitor information and market trends • Answer service calls independently without assistance within one year of employment

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment • Experience with web applications and Microsoft suite of products • Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License • Willingness to be available after hours or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, as necessary, for critical issues and coverage • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex/extend neck; and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity • Specific vision abilities may include color, close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Must successfully complete a drug screen, as applicable • GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas
