📋 Description

• Serve as the technical leader for New Product Introductions and design changes • Guide architecture, engineering decisions, and implementation strategies • Ensure product performance, compliance, and reliability meet industry and regulatory standards • Analyze and present engineering trade-offs across products • Recommend solutions optimizing safety, functional performance, reliability, cost, and time-to-market • Collaborate with software engineering subject matter experts to review system requirements and approve and document system designs • Ensure documentation of technical data for product quality and safety issues follows risk management and design control procedures • Drive validation and verification activities, including system-level testing • Lead formal design reviews and provide objective technical assessments and risk evaluations when required • Monitor and communicate project status, business needs, and significant changes • Develop in-depth knowledge of software products, functionality, and components • Collaborate with product teams to understand business drivers and optimize system designs for users • Present or review in technical and program reviews, surveillance, and audits • Lead continuous improvement activities by identifying and escalating process and product quality gaps and providing solutions

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher • 4+ years of experience in project management or software design is acceptable • Excellent organizational, documentation, analysis, and communication skills • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Experience in project management is preferred • Experience in the software industry is preferred • Experience in GE HealthCare Lead System Designer processes strongly preferred • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Technical, scientific, or management field degree preferred
