📋 Description

• Provide overall finance leadership for building and operating a Project Accounting organization for the Hydro Business • Design a proposal for a future Project Accounting organization and evaluate options for the Hydro business line • Define roles, responsibilities, and operating mechanisms across Region Operations, BU Finance, and FP&A teams • Lead and develop a Controllership and accounting team • Simplify and standardize processes and policies • Translate concepts, develop strategy, implement change, and create responsive programs • Oversee project accounting, including project setup, actuals booking, revenue recognition, manual journal entries, and reconciliations • Streamline connectivity between pacing, GAAP, and statutory and tax financials • Establish legal entity financial quality processes and act as point of contact for audit inquiries • Ensure project financials comply with GAAP, statutory regulations, and global accounting policies • Communicate balance sheet position to senior management quarterly • Partner with Risk Finance, Functions, Cost teams, Pole, BU Finance, and fulfillment leaders on margin review and pacing processes • Provide internal and external audit support for project accounting, balance sheet, and P&L • Drive Controllership excellence, internal controls, and best-practice adoption • Champion LEAN culture, lead transformation, improve processes, and prioritize automation • Identify, recruit, develop, and retain talent • Maintain accountability for third-party vendor execution

🎯 Requirements

• Projects accounting work experience as a Controller, Risk Finance Leader or OTR Finance Manager • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college • Minimum 8 years of experience in finance or operations function in progressively larger positions of responsibility • Minimum 3 years of finance leadership experience • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant preferred • Direct or indirect leadership of global teams preferred • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize under pressure • Strategic thinking and ability to create and execute concrete action plans • Adaptability and flexibility in ambiguous situations • Ability to partner with Pole/ITR Finances, Fulfillment, and Operations • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
