📋 Description

• Serve as the direct financial partner and advisor to approximately 30 client businesses • Review financial statements and identify where profitability is being won or lost • Build forecasts, budgets, cash flow strategies, and KPI dashboards • Work one-on-one with owners on pricing, margin improvement, and operational profitability • Partner with owners on strategic growth decisions and hold them accountable to their goals • Help businesses become less reactive and more financially disciplined • Build trusted, long-term relationships comparable to an in-house CFO partnership • Focus on strategic financial advising while HTM provides clients, systems, and infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years as a CFO, with the majority spent directly advising small to mid-sized business owners • Experience serving businesses with approximately $1M–$35M+ in revenue • Direct, hands-on experience partnering with business owners on pricing, margin improvement, cash flow strategy, and growth planning • Track record of advising multiple owner-led businesses as a CFO, Fractional CFO, Outsourced CFO, Virtual CFO, Business Advisor, or similar • Experience managing multiple client/owner relationships simultaneously • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning skills • Ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations for business owners • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional leadership experience • Must currently reside in AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA, or WA • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship • No legal industry experience required • Ideal candidates may have service-based industry experience, full ownership of financial strategy, and experience helping owners scale their businesses
